| Pastiche 1980 * Footwear in this decade took a conservative turn from the wild ride of the 70's. Women had new roles in business, and designers used more elegant, even architectural elements to appeal to the times. Like the shifting roles of the woman wearing it, this design masterpiece has shifting geometric shapes, almost an ankle boot from one angle, while quite revealing from another. |
